Consistency among different chipboard is VERY difficult to find. Chipboard is a fiber based material and each manufacturer make the same thickness of chipboard with different densities and different material. To further complicate the matter, the climate and environment will also affect how the chipboard is cut. With so many variables, how is anyone supposed to know what is the right "kind" of chipboard, and then be able to obtain it over and over again?
All That Jazz has taken care of that for you. We have tested the chipboard to ensure quality and cuttability with the higher end die cutting machines.
This chipboard, unlike that you may find at your local craft store, has not been kept on a shelf, exposed to the air. It also has not come from the back of a paperpack that has caused it to warp, and it has not been place in close proximity to cement. To ensure quality, we have tested this chipboard for your machine. We have taken precautions to immediately seal the chipboard and store it in a humidity safe environment. That way, you can be sure that it will cut with your machine, every time!
Just a few important tips: When you receive your chipboard, only take it out of the bag as necessary and be sure to seal it up when not in use. The humidity/environment in which it is placed will greatly affect the quality of the board! Of course, this will completely depend on where you are living. We advise that you do not place this product on cement and that you keep it in the upper level of your living residence (the basement is the most humid place in the house).
